What is the job?

We are looking for an individual who would bring a combination of technical, presentation and communication skills, along with a strong work ethic, advanced troubleshooting skills and desire for collaboration with customers, partners, product managers, and sales staff. You will tackle a wide variety of challenges from various angles, including customer on-boarding, lead generation, support, management consulting, product development, training, presenting on webinars and at conferences, and more.

You will become a subject matter expert and then find ways to help our customers with problems big or small, simple or complex. You will communicate in a shared language with both customers, the business team as well as software engineers. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment promoting industry-leading complex, enterprise applications. You will contribute to the ongoing continuous improvement and best practices' development in all areas of sales and customer service.

The ideal candidate must be a self-driven quick learner with good technical aptitude and a focus on the customer. The candidate should have the ability to master a complicated software product, prepare and deliver technical presentations, explain sophisticated concepts in a clear language, analyze use cases and provide optimal solutions.

What are the responsibilities?

  • Serve as a Jira and Confluence subject matter expert as relates to ALM Works products for customers and team members.
  • Review use cases and recommend configuration and workflow improvements.
  • Communicate customer needs and product feedback to Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing.
  • Conduct presentations, demos, prepare and present proof of concepts to demonstrate various use cases.
  • Create content to show customers how to implement specific use cases or best practices.
  • Help in the investigation, diagnosis, and resolution of complex process and software issues.
  • Follow up with customers, provide feedback and facilitate technical pre-sales process to achieve a sale.
  • Utilize excellent customer service skills and exceed customers expectations.
  • Recommend procedure modifications or improvements.
  • Grow our knowledge base by creating solution articles and how-to guides.

What are the requirements?

  • 3+ years of experience in technical positions, product management, sales or support, with a lot of customer-facing activities.
  • BS/BA degree.
  • Ability to quickly and independently learn a software product.
  • Good presentation skills, ability to communicate sophisticated concepts using simple language.
  • Software development experience is a plus.
  • Experience working with Jira, Confluence and other Atlassian products is a strong plus.
  • Experience of supporting complex client-server applications is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of traditional and Agile software development methodologies.
  • Attention to detail, multitasking skills, ability to work productively without supervision.
  • Strong client-facing and communication skills.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English.
  • Being able to travel (4-6 weeks per year).
